Don't Stop Believing!
Been a few weeks now because I could journal my feelings or buckle down and study the engineering schematics for the Death Star. I chose the latter. Especially since DeVry is out at least until next semester. This could actually be a more solid path for my resume.
I have been focusing on all your basic Storm Trooper requirements just to get through these initial weeks when opportunity knocked...
Storm Trooper Training -- Day 2
Everyone stayed up too late last night because we were all so jazzed about getting to tour the Death Star. Also, no one happened to mention the Death Star clock was set to the Central Alpha Centari time zone. So guess which unit woke up an hour early? We all show up an hour early for breakfast — Canteen not even open yet, but guess who gets his coffee early. Yup. With extra foam.

First Day Training -- Storm Trooper
Storm Trooper training sucks. The boots weigh a ton and I can never get them to fit right. Everyone else gets shoe laces and velcro. Not us. No, we’re all “we need something pneumatic” and the air pump and automatic sealing mechanism are never and I MEAN NEVER in sync. Not to mention all the times you keep kicking stuff on the floor because … those boots are...
